VROIDS
I started creating vroids for personal use in 2020, becoming a vtuber for twitch streaming which I had previously just done using voice with no video. I then began taking commissions for vroid models in early 2021, and have now taken over 40 vroid model commissions for clients all over the world. Creating vroids helped me to develop new skills in Unity and Blender as well as a number of third party vroid-related programs.

PERSONAL VROID MODELS

When I first starting creating my models for personal use I wanted to aim for something that was different from a lot of vtuber styles that were commonly seen. My first iterations of my models were inspired by older generation video game art styles such as the dreamcast, ps1 and early ps2/xbox original games. As time went on, I developed my style into something different, still opting for a look that was unique and trying to make a character who looked like they would be in a video game but with my own personal art style incorporated which involved more detailed textures, particularly with the skin and hair. Though for the time being I do not stream, I do continue to develop and update my model, using it as a mascot for my graphics work and to keep developing my skills, especially with experimenting with unity and blender and how they can be used to add more interesting elements to vroid models.

VROID MODEL COMMISSIONS

Here's a small selection of some of the models I have created for commissions. These vary from being entire character designs provided by the client, semi-designs made up of several references, or characters of my own design created using the client's vision (and trust!)
